Yin Yoga is a slower flow practise of Yoga involving seated and supine poses for slightly longer duration, targeting deeper muscles. It aids in stretching of the connective tissue around the knees, spine, legs and pelvic area.
Yin yoga helps to counter the stress of our everyday life by providing a sense of calmness. Gentle and deeper stretching of the muscles improves blood circulation, improves our posture and alignment and reduces stress harmones.
Highly recommended for office workers with high stress jobs or mums looking for a break from their hectic schedule or anyone seeking a 'me' time away from everyday stress.
