The Association of Ki Aikido
Aikido in Kilburn
The Association of Ki Aikido (AKA) is an organisation dedicated to the practice and promotion of ki aikido. The dojo was founded in 1986 and was based in Kilburn until we moved briefly to the Ark Academy in 2010 before moving back to our "spiritual" home of Kilburn in 2013, under the auspices of Charles Harris who has run the dojo since 1989. The dojo, while independent, has the full backing of the AMA (a national registration body covering a variety of martial arts). Charles Harris has been a practitioner of aikido for over thirty years, he currently holds a 6th Dan (black belt). The dojo has several other Dan grades who assist in teaching.
